Our Studio is located in Dulwich Hill
Located in a tree lined street on Dension Road, Dulwich Hill, Creative Corner Studio is a light filled space where all are welcome. Once an old corner store, this gorgeous shop is now a creative makers paradise for children and adults.
The main room can accommodate up to 16 creatives, and there is also a smaller back space complete with kitchen and comfortable chairs to set up food and cakes for events, to have a cuppa or wait for your child to finish their creative masterpieces.
Jen Roberts is the owner of Creative Corner Studio and the journey here has been a lifelong dream. In January 2011 Jen took over a small business in Sydney’s Paddington teaching and sharing her love of art with children. There, she continued to run exciting classes, workshops and birthday parties under the name “Jen’s Kids Art” and then “Creative Kids Co”.
The most recent development came in 2020 after falling in love with resin art during lockdown and having time to further develop her own creative practices and skills. This was the catalyst to branch out a begin offering classes and workshops for adults.
About Jen
My name is Jen and I am passionate about encouraging creativity in students of all ages.
I founded my business 13 years ago as a way to encourage and guide children through their own artistic journeys.
As an artist, I love exploring all mediums and sharing that love with my students, I specialise in Resin, Tie Dye, Watercolours and Character Design and love learning new skills and techniques.
I am also the co-creator of IMOK (Art, T-shirts & Design), established in 2004, which opened up the door to commission and exhibit my own artworks, complete illustrations for a series of books, as well as sell my wares at design markets nationwide. I have also held live art demonstrations and was the featured artist with US Surf/Skate Company Volcom.
I am a mother of 2 gorgeous girls who lucky for me, share my love of all things creative. I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio!
